Description
The GBC 14.2550.70 accepts a Coaxial (RCA) or Toslink optical digital audio input and outputs a stereo analogue signal on two RCA (L/R) connectors. This lets users feed digital audio from Blu-ray players, TVs, game consoles, or set-top boxes into older hi-fi amplifiers, active speakers, or any analogue audio system without internal digital decoding.
The converter processes 24-bit S/PDIF streams and supports sampling frequencies of 32, 44.1, 48, and 96 KHz. It is powered by an external 5V DC supply (included) and draws a maximum of 0.5 watts, making it suitable for permanent connection in an AV rack. The unit produces no electromagnetic interference.
