Description
The Marmitek Connect TC22 is a digital audio converter that bridges the gap between Toslink optical and coaxial RCA digital audio connections. It performs two-way conversion in either direction — optical to coaxial or coaxial to optical — making it the right solution when a source device and an amplifier use different digital audio standards.
The converter also amplifies the digital audio signal, which extends the usable maximum cable length on both the optical and coaxial sides. The incoming digital signal is simultaneously reproduced on both outputs, so a single source can feed two audio destinations at the same time.
Key Features
- Bidirectional conversion: optical (Toslink) to coaxial (RCA) or coaxial to optical
- Both outputs active simultaneously — feeds two audio devices from a single source
- Amplifies the digital audio signal to extend maximum cable length
- Supports 2.0 to 5.1 channel digital audio formats
- Input selector switch to choose between coaxial or optical input
- 1x Toslink input and 1x Coaxial input; 1x Toslink output and 1x Coaxial output
Product Benefits
- Solves mismatched digital audio connections between source and amplifier without replacing either device
- Signal amplification prevents degradation caused by long cable runs on optical or coaxial connections
- Simultaneous dual output means a single source can drive both an AV amplifier and a secondary recording device
- The input selector switch provides clear, manual control over which digital source is active
- Compact design and included power adapter make it easy to integrate in any AV rack or cabinet

Why You'll Love It
- One device resolves optical-to-coaxial or coaxial-to-optical mismatches without purchasing a new amplifier or source
- Both digital outputs operate at the same time — one converter handles multiple audio destinations
- The built-in signal amplifier maintains audio integrity even over longer cable runs
- Simple setup: connect source, connect amplifier, select input with the switch, and the audio connection is ready
