Description
The Marmitek Connect HV15 converts an HDMI signal from an HD source — such as a games console, digital TV box, or Blu-ray player — into a VGA video output for projectors and PC monitors that do not have an HDMI port. A separate 3.5 mm audio output carries the stereo audio signal to an amplifier or powered speakers.
The converter requires no software installation and draws power via USB, so no external power adapter is needed at the installation point.
Key Features
- Converts HDMI input to VGA output with separate 3.5 mm stereo audio output
- Supports HDTV resolutions: 480p@60Hz, 576p@60Hz, 720p@60Hz, 1080i@60Hz, 1080p@60Hz
- Supports a wide range of PC resolutions up to 1920x1080@60Hz
- No software or driver installation required — plug-and-play
- USB-powered — no external power adapter required
- Accepts HDMI input cables up to 15 metres
Product Benefits
- Allows HD source devices (consoles, set-top boxes, media players) to output to VGA-only projectors and monitors without replacing either device
- The dedicated 3.5 mm audio output lets you route sound to amplifiers or powered speakers independently of the video path
- USB power keeps the setup compact and eliminates the need for a nearby mains socket at the display end
- No drivers means the converter is compatible with any HDMI source regardless of platform or operating system
